Christian Sports Bike Association (CSBA)

The Christian Sports Bike Association (Australia) is an outreach ministry and service organisation committed to Jesus. The purpose of CSBA is to provide a regime where Christian motorcyclists with common interests can come together as a group with the objectives of:

  • Tending to the spiritual needs of motorcyclists
  • Promoting fellowship and evangelism among motorcyclists
  • Encouraging and support one another in our Christian walk and life’s struggles in general
  • Providing a culture of safe motorcycling.

CSBA aims to achieve its purpose by:

Organising regular rides, track days, weekend trips

  • Engaging in Christian activities, community charities and other events that promote safe motorcycling
  • Holding at least one annual event at a national level where most members can meet
  • Holding regular meetings for fellowship, bible study, and prayer
  • Providing a Chaplain ministry.

Bells Line of Road works at Kurrajong from 15th April to 4 June, details below.Transport for NSW’s road maintenance service provider for Western Sydney, Ventia, is carrying out pavement and slope repair work to return the road to full capacity.This work will stabilise two slopes damaged by flooding in 2022 on the Bells Line of Road approximately 700m northwest and 1.2kmsoutheast of Kurrajong Heights.What work are we doing?• Establishing three small laydown/stockpileareas at Bell, Mt Tomah and Bilpin usingexisting cleared space inside the road reserve• Creating temporary parking areas to limit plantmovements to and from site• Installing safety barriers• Clearing vegetation where needed• Scaling and removing loose rocks• Drilling and installing rock bolts, attaching theouter rock face to underlying material• Applying shotcrete• Installing steel netting They’ll be working at these slopes for 13 weeksfrom 15 April to 4 June 2024, weather permitting.Working hours for the slope northwest of thetownship are 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and7am to 2pm on Saturday.Working hours for the slope southeast of thetownship will be at night from 8pm to 5am,Sunday to Thursday.No work will occur on public holidaysTraffic impactsThe Bells Line of Road will remain open while wework. There will be traffic control and a reducedspeed limit of 40km/h, however, for the safety ofour workers and road users.
