Pink Ribbon Ride
The pink ribbon is the symbol of support for the many people who have been affected by breast cancer globally.
The Pink Ribbon Motorcycle Ride raises awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Institute to defeat breast cancer. Bringing promising research out of the lab and into treatment centres is an important priority and their commitment to clinical trials continue to grow.
Organised by Girls Ride Out Inc as part of National Breast Cancer month and Motorcycle Awareness Week, the Pink Ribbon Ride raises over $25,000 for donation to The NSW Cancer Council each year.
Ride To Freedom
The Ride to Freedom creates awareness and raises monies for the Australian Childhood Foundation, and the work they do in our great country.
Children are being abused and neglected every day. With one new report of abuse, neglect or family violence every two minutes. We know that no town, city or community is free from this tragedy. The Australian Childhood has created a movement to break this cycle, and we can help them achieve it!
The ride is hosted by Saturday Night Riders on the last Sunday of November as an annual event.

Motorcycle Accident Rehabilitation Initiative (M.A.R.I.)
M.A.R.I is a program developed at St Vincents Hospital in Sydney. It stands for (Motorcycle Accident Rehabilitation Initiative) and was started after a generous donation from two extraordinary human beings.
Now M.A.R.I. has representatives throughout Australia helping riders who have passed through an Emergency Department and needing medical assistance and a hand from a fellow rider.
The M.A.R.I Team manage an off shoot called the Dr Wings Bike Force, this group of individual volunteers are helping other riders with the guidance of the MARI team and hospital staff throughout Australia.

Snowy Ride
Children’s Cancer Institute Australia for Medical Research (CCIA) is the only independent medical research institute in Australia dedicated to research into the causes, cure and prevention of childhood cancer
The Snowy Ride is an annual motorcycle event in the Alpine Region of NSW. Riders number close to 10,000 and over 3 million dollars has been raised.
All monies raised by the Steven Walter Fund go directly to The Children’s Cancer Institute Australia and all funds are directed into research.
MS Sydney to the Gong Bike Ride
The Multiple Sclerosis Society of New South Wales’s mission is to give hope to people with MS and their families by:
Promoting independent living and health for people with MS
Informing, educating and fostering rights for people with MS
Promoting research into the management of MS, and
Contributing to research into a cure for MS
Otherwise, MS Society’s Sydney to Gong Bicycle Ride Volunteer as a motorcycle marshal.
Harleys for Humanity
A group of Newcastle Harley riders conduct Harleys for Humanity – a charity ride in NSW to raise money. See their Facebook for details. Open to any motorcyclist, not just Harley-Davidson riders.
Kings Cross Bikers
The Kings Cross Bikers Social And Welfare Club are a charity group who dedicate their free time to assisting Disabled Kids, Adults, Elderly, Schools, Hospitals and anyone who requires assistance.
Sydney Children’s Hospital
The mission of the Sydney Children’s Hospital is to provide high quality, comprehensive services to the children of New South Wales and beyond.
The Kobbers Kruiser Klub are a social club of Japanese or European cruiser riders that holds an annual Easter Egg run in support of the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick.
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead’s mission is to constantly challenge the existing boundaries in paediatrics and child health by leading change and striving for excellence in clinical care, research, teaching and advocacy.
Oroadsports supports The Children’s Hospital at Westmead with all monies raised from the members Quit Smoking Challenge.
Arthritis Association
The Arthritis Foundation of NSW has these objectives:
To fund research into the causes and cures of arthritis.
To educate medical and health professionals in the treatment of arthritis.
To promote community awareness of the problems confronting people with arthritis.
To provide support, advice and information for those with arthritis and their families.
The Ulysses Club supports the Arthritis Association and donates about $75,000 a year. Ulysses also support many other charities both state and national.
Salvation Army
The Salvation Army’s mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in his name without discrimination.
Each year Bikers Australia coordinates an annual Toy Run collecting toys, gifts and funds which are then donated to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.
Burnside Children’s Home
Burnside Presbyerian Orphan Home is one of the largest orphan homes in Australia.
Each year Bikers Australia coordinates an The Burnside Childrens Home Toy Run with all gifts donated to the Burnside Childrens Home.
Homeless Persons’ Week – Bikers’ Blanket Run
Homeless Persons’ Week is an initiative by the Parramatta City Council to encourages us to think about the issue of homelessness and provide homeless people with opportunities to feel they belong and are accepted by the Community.
Bikers’ Blanket Run starts in Church Street Mall, Parramatta and is supported by Bikers Australia.
Bombala Local Hospital
For the past 20 years the Bombala Motorcycle Association has run a motorcycle show, the proceeds go to the local hospital.
Mission Australia
Mission Australia helps disadvantaged and isolated individuals, families and communities by giving them the support they need to get back on track, and lead more fulfilling lives.
Girls Ride Out raise money for Mission Australia at the majority of events they hold. Fund raising events for Mission Australia include the Sydney Motorcycle Show Display and the Winter Sleepout Ride.
Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia
This mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia is to provide a range of cost-effective and quality aeromedical and other health services integrated with other providers in rural and remote Australia.
The BMW Touring Club of NSW supports the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia with an annual donation.
Moorong Spinal Injury Unit of the Royal Rehabilitation Centre
The Moorong Spinal Injury Unit is a part of The Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney which offers rehabilitation and disability programs for adults who have sustained spinal cord injury, brain injury, orthopaedic injury and illness, age related illness, burns, cancer, multi-trauma and other conditions.
Motor vehicle accidents are the most frequent cause of spinal cord injury. The Ducati Owners Club of NSW have run the Thunder Rally for 31 years. Proceeds go to the Moorong Spinal Unit.
