From time-to-time MCC conducts surveys on its own behalf and hosts surveys for other entities.
There are no active surveys at present.
Surveys Generally
Up-to-date research helps develop new safety initiatives for motorcycle safety. A major component of new initiatives will be communication campaigns, designed to promote safe riding and driving behaviours through key safety messages.
We need an analysis of the attitudes of motorcycle riders, as well as those of passengers and drivers who interact with them.
Aims are:
-
provide current information on the knowledge, attitudes and self-reported behaviours of NSW motorcycle riders.
- provide current information about drivers’ attitudes towards motorcycle safety and drivers’ self-reported behaviour of motorcycle riders.
Responses are kept anonymous. The results of surveys will be reported as a summary by an independent research company and will not contain details of anyone who took part.
