A 27 year-old scooter rider was killed last night when a car driver crashed into her while she waited at a red light. This occurred on Heathcote Road, Moorebank, around 11:35 PM yesterday. She suffered critical head injuries and was taken to Liverpool Hospital, but succumbed to them this morning.

• 234 Sussex street (entry via Cunningham Lane)
• 4-10 Campbell street (entry via Druitt lane).
